Camera configuration

The generic ONVIF driver will now cover features for ONVIF profiles T and Q – and following the R1 release we will also apply for getting the official certification.

Manage ONVIF devices more quickly and efficiently in the XProtect VMS with the added support for user and network management of ONVIF compliant devices.

A User management covers:

  • Adding new users
  • Deleting users
  • Listing defined users and their settings

Network management covers changes in:

  • IP address of the device
  • The subnet mask
  • Default gateway settings

Since this feature is specific to ONVIF devices and the ONVIF protocol, the feature is only available for ONVIF compliant devices when the generic ONVIF driver is used.
