A fresh look for
XProtect Mobile

We updated our mobile user interface for a more intuitive and easier way to work with XProtect Mobile.
Improvements include:
• Updated interface for Live and Playback, button and icon improvements
• Updated Picture-in-Picture preview showing live video while in playback. The preview is now movable, so as not to obstruct the view.

These enhancements are available in XProtect Mobile and supported in XProtect Essential+, XProtect Express+, XProtect Professional+, XProtect Expert, and XProtect Corporate.

Updates to the Online Documentation Portal

Usage has accelerated since the launch of our new online portal for technical documentation in February. Based on feedback and user analytics, we can now offer the following enhancements and updates:

- Technical documentation describing options for integrating to the XProtect VMS has been added to the portal. Find it under "third-party integrations" on the front page.

- The XProtect Administrator Manual now has its own direct link from the front page.

- There's an improved download experience with a new Download button. This optimizes the interconnection between the Download Page for manuals and guides and the Documentation Portal.

- We optimized the PDF print format.  Just press Ctrl+P if you need to print.

- Comments? Suggestions? Give us feedback on our manuals via a link on each page.

Improved Smart Map

In addition to displaying camera placements, users can now see alarms directly on the Smart Map, for an even better system overview.

‍Smart Map is available for XProtect Expert and XProtect Corporate

Increased number of Smart Client profiles in XProtect Expert

The number of Smart Client profiles in XProtect Expert has increased from 3 to 12. This is for scenarios when XProtect Expert is used as a child site in a Federated Architecture set-up and multiple users need to access the local sites.
